High Levels Of CO

Prospect Fire Co. responded on a still alarm for an activated CO alarm at 42 Whitman Street. Deputy Chief Byrnes was first on scene and had high levels on his meter. Once the engine company made their way into the structure they had readings on nearly 300 PPM. The heating unit was shut down and PSEG was contacted. The house was vented and PSEG found problems with the heating unit. All units were cleared from the scene in 90 minutes.
