One Car MVA On Windsor Rd.

At approximately 16:23 a day still was sounded for a MVC requiring extrication on Windsor Road near Maiden Lane. DC2 Chief Kneisler, Rescue 746, and Engine 744, under the command of Portable 13 (Lt. Kirsch) responded. Upon arrival, members had a one vehicle crash involving a car vs. a tree. BFD members removed the driver’s door while members of Teaneck Engine 4 and Rescue 1 stretched a dry line, secured the battery, and applied speedy dry. Once the door was removed, members of Teaneck Ambulance Corps. and ALS 201 began packaging and treating the patient to be transported to a local hospital. Units were picked up and back in quarters by 17:13. |
