Members Continue To Drill On Porter Avenue

Members of all three fire companies have now had the opportunity to drill at a house on Porter Avenue that was donated to the FD by the homeowner. The large old home is slated to be torn down and two new homes will be built in its place. On Tuesday evening, members of Alert used the house and on Wednesday, Fire Company No. 2 was there. Companies used the structure to review ventilation, fire attack, search and overhaul methods. The BFD is grateful to any resident who donates their home prior to it being razed. |
