House On Porter Avenue Donated To BFD

The residents of 66 Porter Avenue donated their house to the Bergenfield FD to drill on for a few days before it was to be razed. On Friday night, Prospect Fire Co. No.1 drilled at the home. Members filled the house with smoke using a smoke machine and reviewed ventilation scenarios. At the same time, members of the Junior Fire Department went over scene lighting with FF Jim McGoldrick. Jim is the currently heading up the Junior Firefighter Program.
