Former Chief, John Kaberle, Jr.

It is with deep regret that we announce the passing of former Chief of the Department, John Kaberle.

John was a member of Alert Fire Co. No. 1 and was Chief in 1977 and Deputy Chief in 1975 and 1976. John also was a member of the Bergenfield Rescue Squad and served as Chief of that organization as well. The members of the department will be paying their last respects this evening at 8:00 P.M. at Riewerts in Bergenfield.
