Engine 743 To Dumont Again For A Cover-Up

At 0229hrs. the Dumont Fire Department requested an engine from Bergenfield to respond to Independent firehouse on a cover-up assignment. Dumont had a fire in a private dwelling located at 44 Thompson Street.

Engine 743 with a crew of 4 along with Chief Kniesler responded on the run. They took in no runs and were back in the borough in less than 90 minutes.

Ladder To Teaneck For Cover-Up

At 1500 hrs., Mid-Bergen requested a Bergenfield ladder to respond to Teaneck Fire Headquarters on a cover-up assignment while Teaneck worked a 2nd alarm fire in their town.

The ladder under the command of Lt. Kirsch and a crew of 3 responded along with Chief Kneisler and covered the township with a Bogota engine. They took in no runs while in Teaneck.
